Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 8, 2026
Freight Factoring Specialists LLC (“FFS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through truckingcapital.com (the “Site”) and when you apply for or use our freight factoring services, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
This policy applies to information collected through the Site, our quote and application process, and our ongoing servicing of freight factoring, fuel advance, and fuel card relationships. It is directed at motor carriers, owner-operators, and the business owners and authorized representatives who deal with us on behalf of a trucking business, not at individual consumers seeking personal or household financing.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you submit a form, request a quote, chat with us, or apply for factoring, we may collect your name, company name, MC and DOT numbers, phone number, email address, monthly invoice volume, and other details about your trucking business. If your application moves forward, we may also collect your operating authority and insurance documents, tax forms, bank account details for funding, invoices, bills of lading, rate confirmations, and other documentation needed to set up and service your account. If you sign up for fuel cards, we may collect the names of the drivers who will carry them.
Information about your customers. Because our services are tied to your freight invoices, we also collect information about the brokers and shippers whose invoices you submit, including company names, contact details, load and invoice details, and payment history. We use this information solely to evaluate and service the factoring relationship.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and the analytics, advertising, chat, and hosting providers described in Section 5 may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit, typically through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 5 below.
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you or your business from FMCSA and other public records, credit reporting agencies, broker and shipper credit services, business information providers, and referral partners, in order to verify the details you have provided and assess the creditworthiness of your business and your customers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Evaluate and process your quote request or application
- Verify your identity, your operating authority, and the creditworthiness of your business and your customers
- Verify loads and invoices with your brokers and shippers before we fund them
- Communicate with you about your inquiry, application, or active account, by phone, text, email, or chat
- Prepare, execute, and administer any resulting factoring agreement, including UCC filings and Notice of Assignment where applicable
- Fund your invoices and fuel advances, collect payment from your customers, and pass through payments we receive on invoices you did not factor
- Reconcile reserves, collections, and fees on your account
- Set up and manage fuel cards you request
- Send you marketing communications about our services, where permitted, which you may opt out of at any time
- Maintain the security, performance, and functionality of the Site
- Comply with applicable law, regulatory requirements, and legal process
- Detect and prevent fraud
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for monetary payment. We may share information as follows:
- Funding and capital partners. With banks, participants, or other capital sources involved in funding or servicing your account.
- Verification and credit services. With credit reporting agencies, broker and shipper credit services, UCC search and filing services, and identity verification providers, in order to set up and monitor your account.
- Fuel card provider. With EFS, which powers our fuel card program, to issue and manage the fuel cards you request.
- Service providers. With vendors who host the Site, run our phone and live chat systems, provide analytics, process communications, or otherwise support our operations, under obligations to protect your information.
- Advertising and sales intelligence providers. Through the Meta Pixel and the Apollo website tracker on the Site, Meta and Apollo receive information about your visit, such as your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you view. We use this to measure our advertising and to learn which companies visit the Site. Meta and Apollo may also use this information under their own privacy policies. Under some state privacy laws, this may count as “sharing” personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. You can turn it off at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page.
- Your customers. Where required to service a factoring arrangement, such as verifying a load or sending a Notice of Assignment directing payment to FFS.
- Legal and regulatory purposes. Where required by subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of some or all of our assets, subject to applicable confidentiality obligations.
4. Communications Choices
If you no longer wish to receive marketing calls, texts, or emails from us, you may tell us directly using the contact information in Section 12, or use the opt out or unsubscribe option included in a given communication. Communications necessary to service an active factoring agreement, such as funding and payment notices, are not considered marketing and may continue for the duration of that relationship.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies in three groups:
- Essential. Technologies that operate core features, such as forms, the quote calculator, spam protection, live chat, and remembering your privacy choices. These are always on.
- Analytics. Google Tag Manager and the Google analytics tags it runs, which show us how visitors use the Site.
- Advertising and sales. The Meta Pixel, which measures our advertising, and the Apollo website tracker, which shows us which companies visit the Site.
Analytics and advertising technologies are on by default. You can turn either group off at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. Your choice is saved in your browser, so it applies only to that browser and device and must be set again if you clear your browser data.
When you use live chat, the messages you send and the details you share are kept by our phone and chat system so our team can respond and follow up.
The Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control browser signals. To opt out, use the Your Privacy Choices page.
Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the Site function.
6. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, particularly the financial, banking, and business information submitted during setup and funding. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information you provide to us or that we collect.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal and business information for as long as needed to evaluate your inquiry, service an active account, meet our legal, tax, and regulatory recordkeeping obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary depending on whether a factoring relationship was established and the nature of the underlying records.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you or your business are located, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and contractual limits (for example, records we are required to keep in connection with an active or former factoring agreement).
California residents. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction of that information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. The Meta Pixel and Apollo website tracker described in Section 5 may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of that sharing at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. To exercise your other rights, contact us using the information in Section 12.
To submit any privacy request, please contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity and your authority to act on behalf of a business before completing a request.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site and our services are intended for business use by adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
10. Third Party Links
The Site may contain links to third party websites or resources, such as our client login portal and our fuel card provider. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices separately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting an active factoring agreement will be handled under the terms of that agreement, not solely through an update to this page.
